The event of NATIOINAL VOTER’S DAY AWARNESS EVENT was held on by at AJANTJA CIRCLE AND NTR CIRCLE. On January 25th, 2024, SSGS Degree College hosted an event to create awareness on National Voter’s Day, showcasing the importance of voting in democracy. The program began with the sound of drums and trumpets by NCC cadets, followed by a voice-over from our principal, Sri Dr K Venkateswarlu, on the significance of voting and empowering youth towards a better India. The event continued with several students performing dances to various patriotic songs and songs about voting awareness, culminating in a pledge on voting.
Later, our Honourable Director, Sri P Gopal, addressed the participants and the public about the importance of voting in democracy. He emphasized the role of the youth in shaping the future of our nation and urged them to exercise their right to vote. The event concluded with a pledge on the integrity of voting and the importance of transparency in the voting process, given by our Honourable Correspondent, Sri K C Hari Kumar, in the presence of the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Kasapuram Police Station and his team, along with all the students and staff at the college campus.
At SSGS Degree College, we believe in instilling the values of honesty, integrity, love for the motherland, and social justice, and this event was a testament to our commitment towards these values. We are proud of our students who showcased their talent through various dance performances and pledged to exercise their right to vote. Through this event, we hope to create awareness about the significance of voting in democracy and empower our youth to become responsible citizens of our nation. Around 423 students along with and 38 other faculty members participated in the event.
